The Level 2 Survey
This type of Survey is great if you need more extensive information whilst buying or selling a conventional house, flat or bungalow, built from common building materials and in a reasonable condition.
This option is the most common option and tends to get a good balance of all defects and provides advice on repairs.

The Level 3 Survey
Choose this type of Survey if the property is large, old or even poorly maintained. This level 3 Survey is often used for a building which is unusual in its design, its use of material, size or has been altered. It gives detailed information about the structure and fabric of the property. This type of survey puts the property under the microscope and covers all aspects.
